Part Time 30 week

Media Hair & makeup course Level 3 VTCT

We understand that some of you are unable to commit to full time education and so we offer this part time course as an intensive alternative which gives successful students who are dedicated to the subject the opportunity to work in the media, either in theatre, television, film, advertising, photography or even catwalk.

Students should be willing to commit fully to this makeup course and be ale to complete a small amount of coursework outside of college hours. 

The Schools in house studio and photographer can be made available during the course for a small fee.

An intensive course, of 30 weeks 1 day a week with continued assessment.
 

Entry requirements

A certificate in basic make-up or a level 2 in fashion and photographic make-up is advised before undertaking this course.

• Advanced makeup techniques and fantasy make-up and hair

• Make-up and hair for film and T.V including High Definition

• Script breakdown
• Media hair and wigs (including facial hair)
• Make-up for theatre
• Casualty effects and basic prosthetics
• False lashes
• Airbrushing
• Hairdressing including cutting and styling
