Part Time Media Hair & makeup course

VTCT Level 3

This is an intensive hair and makeup course giving successful students the opportunity to work in the media, either in theatre, television, film, advertising, photography or even catwalk.

Students should be willing to commit fully to this makeup course and build a portfolio of work, as potential clients usually require evidence of skills. Aqua Rosa's in house studio and photographer can be made available during the course for a small fee.

An intensive course, of 30 weeks one day a week with continued assessment.
 

Entry requirements

A certificate in basic make-up or a level 2 in fashion and photographic make-up is advised, a discount of £150 will be given to students booking the level 2 and level 3 make-up course at the same time.

• Preparation of client, equipment & products
• Skin analysis, face shapes and skin tones
• Cleansing, toning & moisturizing
• Make-up application for fashion and photography
• Make-up for film and T.V including High Definition
• Continuity, professional studies 
• Media hair and wigs (including facial hair)
• Make-up for theatre
• Casualty effects and basic prosthetics
• False lashes
• Airbrushing
• You will be given a full course folder in this course to refer to as you practice at home
• Course kit can be provided
• You will receive a professional certificate that will allow you to acquire insurance and work in your chosen field.
