Boasting a prime location and being connected to one of the North West’s most well known TV studios is a great bonus for students studying here, not only do we get preferential treatment for our students acquiring work experience, but we are literally surrounded by some of the industries finest production companies, program/commercial makers and facilities houses.

The North West Media Makeup School is fully kitted out as a professional make-up studio with mirrored stations, adjustable chairs and an amazing range of products enabling you to create the weird and wonderful! At the rear of the building we have a large carpark for students and staff.

Just next door within the studios you will have access to the excellent mad hatter's tearooms, providing hot and cold meals, snacks, drinks and all in a nice friendly environment.

Residing in a bustling business location, we have access to hundreds of potential clients for the makeup school students and with a central location, close to a number of public transport links, we hope our well thought out centre is at the cutting edge of its field.

Nearby Didsbury village, provides many bars, cafes, shops and everything you might need on a day to day basis, whilst only a short distance away is Manchester city centre where you will find a well maintained shopping precinct, hotels, leisure facilities and anything else you can think of.

Drive on the Kingsway A34 southbound. Just before the Parrs Wood leisure complex on the left, there is a Tesco Supermarket with a red brick clock tower to the right. Turn left here at traffic lights onto the A5145 to Stockport.
Go past a fuel station, up a hill which bends left and then turn right at lights down Station Road. The sign says Battersea Road Trading Estate. This downward hill turns into Vale Road and then turn right into Battersea Road as per the map. Park anywhere around the studios, and we’re on the ground floor of Winsor House.

Directions from Stockport & from M60, from West & East:

From Junction 1 of the M60 at the pyramid, take the A5145 towards Didsbury. After a mile, turn left at lights down Station Road. The sign says Battersea Road Trading Estate. This turns into Vale Road and then it’s turn right into Battersea Road as per the map. Park anywhere around the studios, and we’re on the ground floor of Winsor House.

From Cheshire:

Drive northbound on the A34 towards Manchester. With the Parrs Wood leisure complex on your right and Tesco with a clock tower on your left, get into the right hand lane at the lights and turn right onto the A5145 towards Stockport. Go past a fuel station, up a hill which bends left and then turn right at lights down Station Road. The sign says Battersea Road Trading Estate. This turns into Vale Road and then it’s turn right into Battersea Road as per the map. Park anywhere around the studios, and we’re on the ground floor of Winsor House.
