Excellent results this week from the level 2 and 3 groups who did their last few days with us... Really impressive feedback from internal and external verifiers! Fabulous groups you will do really well guys!

Film crew arrive for hair cuts

The tv and film industry have never looked so smart... 2010's Soon to be qualified hairdressing group have given the crews of the north west a good tidy up in salon this week after Aqua Rosa staff bullied them into coming in to model. BIG THANKS TO PAUL, ROSS AND JEZ for coming at short notice.

We are really pleased to have been given excellent feedback from the producer at the TV department who was thrilled with the work of two of our level 3 students who provided their hair and make-up skills for a TV advert due to be screened soon. World Apart

Photo shoot went well

Well done to the girls who did their first shoot this week. Excellent results the band were really happy with how they looks, music video next!

Looking ahead

In the wake of the possibility of getting involved in  offering a degree course we would love to hear your views on how far you would like to take your training.

The North West Media Make-up School

Well done!

A big congratulations to those students and ex students who did a fantastic job on the trailor for a brand new horror film last week.... Excellent job and not for the faint hearted. 

New courses for 2010

The North West Media Make-up School is pleased to let you all know it will be bringing on a brand new fashion styling and costume design course for 2010, register your interest with us for up to date information... This will be a stand alone course for students wishing to work with fashion styling and in the costume department for TV, Film and the media.

New School to open

Aqua Rosa has today announced the opening of it's new media make-up and hair school in the South of England. Please enquire for details. The new school is to be based at a prominent TV studios in the West Midlands and will open September 2010 We would love to hear from any interested students who will be offered a 20% discount on courses at our new make-up school in return for answering a questionnaire.

Treatments available

Our sister school is opening it's doors for beauty treatments, book in for Saturday or evening treatments for a maximum of £5 per treatment have, a tan, manicure, pedicure, waxing, eye treatments etc...

Basic week

The new term has had a fantastic start, 14 students completed the basic week with stunning results... Pictures to follow soon.

Fashion and Photographic students qualify

Well done to the 11 students who have just finished the Fashion and Photographic course, excellent results, we will miss you all.... Good luck for the future guys and all the best to Lynda taking her new found skills to Kuala Lumpur!

Our resident stylist and industry professional got married to her beloved Ted Edwards on the 27th June 2009... Fantastic wedding she looked amazing!!!

Students on set

Two of our top students were recently welcomed on to the set of a period drama for PZ cussons, they had a fantastic time and certainly stunned the cast and crew with their exceptional talents.

The BBC visit The North West Media Make-up School

This week the BBC have been giving a talk to our students about getting into the industry and also about how to join their schemes. Excellent feedback from the students who had a great afternoon.
