Hairdressing

This course is now being offered as a standalone and 2 days a week at our school will be dedicated to acquiring this hairdressing qualification.

The media is a fabulous career choice and those who are talented and patient will succeed!

Having the ability to support yourself with hairdressing work could make it a little easier.

This course is run over 2 days a week for 25 weeks.It is a very intensive course and the days in college are very busy.

You will very quickly be working on real clients and be expected to complete course work in your own time. You will be encouraged to bring in models on occasion to work on, in order to be assessed.

G1 Health and safety
G5 Client care
G7 Client consultation
H6 Cutting hair using basic techniques
H9 Shampoo and condition hair
H10 Style, dress and finish hair
H13 Change hair colour using basic techniques
H12 Perm and neutralise hair using basic techniques
G8 Develop and maintain effectiveness at work
