Davy Jones

Davy has worked in the film industry now for over 20 years. Not being satisfied with being a well regarded hair and make-up artist he decided to diversify and steer his career path down the dark tunnels of prosthetic and sfx make-up, each one housing a different monster, dead body or weird and wonderful creature. Some of which has led to winning his very own EMMY, BAFTA and RTS award.

Not only recognised as one of the country’s finest prosthetics experts Davy is known for his professional yet fun approach to work and teaching.
Davy recently re-wrote our two week special effects unit which helps makes up our 16 week Level 3 Diploma course and when he or his team come in and give you the benefit of their incredible expertise you will see a whole new world of creative energy.
The North West Media Make-up School is lucky and proud to have his skill and support; it is a pleasure to work with a team of exceptionally talented individuals who also have the integrity, kindness and time to give our student the very best training.
